Dhanush’s next is Ready

Hari’s direction, bro Selva’s direction - apart from these two, Vettrimaran’s ‘Aadukalam’ are the projects which are keeping Dhanush juggling between each other as of now. This November our hero will start his next with director Mithran Jawahar. And as we had it earlier, this one is the remake of ‘Ready’. ‘Ready’ is a Telugu film, starring Ram, Genelia directed by Sreenu Vytla.

It’s noteworthy that Mithran Jawahar has given a hit with Dhanush in ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and is working with the hero for ‘Kutty’. And looks like Tollywood is serving a golden ticket to Dhanush each time now-a-days. In fact this lucky streak began with his ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule’. Then his ‘Kutty’ is also a remake of the Tollywood’s runaway success ‘Arya’. Cool right?

All things apart, this new remake will have the musical scores by Vijay Antony. Birdies say that the composing has started already.

Padikkadavan Re-mix songs

Directed by Suraj, 'Padikkadavan' has Dhanush and Tamanna in lead roles.

Going by the trend they also wanted to have a re-mix song in the film.  After examining a lot of songs, finally they had chosen the song 'kettela inge…' from the film 'Badrakali'.  Mani Sarma has done the re-mix of the song.

But a re-mix of this song has already been done for 'Vasantham vandhachu'.  They have done this again without knowing anything about the other film.  This is just an example of how re-mix songs have become so popular.

Many expected this Dhanush film would be released for Deepavali.  But it is not for Deepavali it is a December release.

Shreya busy Schedule

Producers Association has sent an order to Shriya to act in a film with Dhanush directed by Vetrimaran and produced by Kadiresan.

The same team that made 'Polladhavan' is making another film and Shriya has already taken advance from producer Kadiresan. Shreya returned the advance to the Nadigar Sangam saying the shooting did not start as scheduled and her call sheet had gone for waste.

At the same time, Shreya gave her call sheet afresh for a Dhanush film produced by Gemini Lab. On learning of this, Kadiresan filed a complaint with the Producers Association. After discussions, it was decided that Shreya would work in Kadiresan's film after completing the Gemini Lab production.

Shreya is busy working in 'Kanthasamy' and Hollywood and is wondering how to manage her call sheet!

Dhanush and vadivelu joint Padikkadavan

Director Suraj, who is directing Dhanush for 'Padikkadavan' has denied any rift with Vadivelu.

On rumors that he fell apart with the comedian while shooting for 'Padikkadavan', Suraj says, "Obviously yes. There were some problems. Vadivelu wanted to improvise the dialogues on the sets, which I resisted. We then mutually decided to part as friends. Now Vivek has replaced Vadivelu".

"However that doesn't mean that I have developed cold shoulders with Vadivelu", he adds.

'Padikkadavan' features Dhanush, Tamanna in lead roles. Vivek teams up with Dhanush for the first time in the movie.

A major portion of the movie has been completed. The movie is expected for release for Deepavali.

I will direct a film after 2010'– Dhanush

'Although I do not have the features of a hero, people have accepted me because of my boy-next-door looks' declares Dhanush whose recent hits 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' and 'Polladhavan' have created a lot of expectations among movie audiences.

'I do realize that the same appeal might not hold good for long. I need to work hard to fit the characters I play in films. Only that will stand in good stead for the future', says the actor in a matter-of-fact way.

Dhanush has had a desire to direct a film for a long time now. 'I have already provided dates to act in films till 2010. Probably, I'll realize my dream of directing a film after 2010'.

The actor is currently busy with 'Padikkathavan', a film directed by Suraj which is expected to release soon.

Talking about his physic, the actor said that he was the first in Tamil Cinema to sport a six-pack ab. 'I got into shape for a six-pack ab for the film 'Polladhavan'. Only after that Surya and Vishal started sporting it'.

The young actor also appealed to his fans to refrain form calling him 'Junior Superstar'. 'I do not deserve to be called that even though I am the son-in-law of superstar Rajinikanth. I still have a very long way to go with my career to come close to be referred like that' declared Dhanush.
